Twenty-three members of Aracoma attended the 1955 V-A Conference,
May 15-17, 1955 at Camp Pushmataha, Mobile, Alabama. Aracoma conducted
a discussion on "Camp Promotion in the Unit and Council", and held an
Indian dance workshop. Aracoma also conducted the fire lighting ceremony,
performed the Eagle Dance, and reported on plans for hosting the 1956
conference at Camp Horne. Charles Christopher was elected Deputy Chief
for the 1956 Conference.
